FG To Restructure Doctors, Health Workers, Other MDAs’ Hazard Allowances.

The Federal Government has announced plans to phase out hazard allowance paid to medical doctors and other health workers in medical centres and clinics in Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDAs. 
A circular by the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission, NSIWC, signed by its Chairman, Ekpto  Nta, announced the approval of President Muhammad Buhari for upward review of medical doctors’ and other health workers’ hazard allowance in Federal Medical Centres in MDAs.

According to the review,  non-Clinical staff on grade level 01 to 05, effective December 1, 2021, would be paid hazard allowance of N15,000 monthly as against instead of N5000, while Clerical on grade level  01 to 05, instead of N5,000.00, would earn N16,000.00 monthly.

The circular said Non Clinical staff on grade level 06 to 12, as against N5,000.00, would be paid hazard allowance of  N30,000.00, while Clinical staff on grade level 06 to 12  will paid N32,000.00 monthly as against N5,000.00.

Non-Clinical staff on grade level 13 to15, instead of  N5,000.00, would be paid N32, 000.00 among others.

Gbenga Adeboye gave me my nickname - Shoshogirisho

A well known broadcaster and musician, Mr Oluwole Osikoya Popularly called Gbenga Allyson or Shoshogirisho, said in a media chat in Abeokuta that the last multi talented broadcaster, producer and entertainer, Prince Gbenga Adeboye, gave him his nickname. Social media goes agog as ‘Goodluck Jonathan coming back’ 2023 posters surface online

Nigerians on social media went agog to a poster with the inscription “GEJ Is Coming Back” which suggests the ambition of former President Goodluck Jonathan to contest for presidency in the 2023 elections. According to Sahara Reporters, the poster was done by a faceless group known as the National Agenda for Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. It claimed it aimed for a better Nigeria come 2023. However, this has been greeted with mixed reactions from citizens with many condemning Jonathan’s ambition.
