Atiku condemned Senator Elisha Abbo assault act

* Call PDP to investigate and bring the senator to book.

The People's Democratic Party presidential candidate in the 2019 general election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has expressed his dissatisfaction over the alleged assault video involving Sen. Elisha Abbo, PDP, Adamawa North.

The presidential candidate condemned the act by the Senator from his state and his political party and call for the law to take it's course.

He advised the senator to apologise public, and voluntarily go to the police.

He also call on their party, PDP and Nigeria Police to take necessary disciplinary action.

The presidential candidate say this on his Twitter handle @atiku that:

"I’ve seen the alleged assault video involving Sen. Elisha Abbo. The video is sad, inexcusable. I know the Senator quite well. But the law is clear and leaders must lead by example.

"I advise him to publicly apologize, voluntarily go to the police and show a good example expected of a young leader. I also call on our party, the @OfficialPDPNig to take necessary disciplinary action and the @PoliceNG to ensure the law takes its full course. -AA".
