AMELTAN national executives stop members from posting on platform

... National secretary confirmed negligence attitude of MLSCN.

The National Executives of the Association of Medical Laboratory Technicians and Assistants of Nigeria (AMELTAN) had stop members from posting their opinions on the association Whatsapp platform.
This came up after a call by the members for the resignation of the national president, High Chief Emmanuel Isijana Samuel, Owurong III due to his nonchalant attitude, induction as a Medical Laboratory Scientist,  lack of commitment and lackadaisical act to the association.

The lockout was carried out by the association Organizing secretary, Com Nmeakor Bernard, at about (3:40pm) on Tuesday 10th May, 2022.

Prior to the lockout, Com Bernard, conducted a mass removal of all members that expressed their opinions on the subject matter.

Meanwhile, an emergency National Working Committee (NWC) meeting is set to come up this week but the President is not ready to step down his position.

This was evidenced in the secretary post before the lockout at 03:37pm that

"We observed with dismay the uncivilized manner of approach to our national president chief comrade isijana owurong 111.

We as admin cannot fold our hands and see our members castigating our national president in such manner,

If we have any grievances as it may kindly Chanel your issues to the NWC who shall in turn forward it to the appropriate directions,"
