He’s not a boy you can slap on the way and walk away easily. Hence, he should be in his 20s,” he said. When asked when last he saw David in the Ikotun market of Lagos state, Tobi said it has been a while

IPMAN makes u-turn, directs members to sell fuel at N165 per litre

Image
The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) on Wednesday said its members would continue to sell fuel at the Federal Government approved price of N165 per litre. This represents a reversal of its earlier directive to its members to sell petrol at N180 per litre. The Lagos chapter of IPMAN through its secretary, Akeem Balogun on Monday announced it would no longer be able to sell petrol below N180. He said the decision was taken because its members could no longer operate at a loss. He had said while the government had fixed N165 per litre as the pump price of petrol, the current realities in the market showed that the minimum the product should be sold at retail stations should be N180. But National President of IPMAN, Elder Chinedu Okoronkwo, gave the new directive at a press conference in Abuja. He said the association has resolved to maintain the status quo going forward since the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) and the Pipeline and Product Market

AN OPEN LETTER OF CONCERN TO THE OSCOHTECH ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, BOARD OF TRUSTEE

Image
I, onbehalf of many Concerned Alumni felt necessary and pertinently compelled to write you this open letter with sincere mind, and I do hope that you will also read and digest its content without prejudice and act on it in dispatch. Having watched and observed from the sideline the activities of the Board of Trustees (BOT) since you took over the running of the association, immediately after the botched election in November 2021.  I am gravely concerned that the steps taken by the BOT are worrisome, hence there is need to illuminate you on some crisis that your actions might brought to the association, because the BOT are seriously treading on the path that may bring more chaos than expected solutions if failed to desist from pressing further. Curiously, it is of great concern that the BOT are now interpreting the constitution to suite their plans and interest to run the Association by proxy in buying more time to stay longer in office than expected as provided by the Const

“One peculiar thing about the top three guys battling it out for the 001 seat, is that neither of them is there for the money. 1. One has milked Nigeria well enough systematically, and just wants to answer President by all means.* *He lives in Dubai full-time and only comes around every 4 years to contest for the Presidency. He doesn't understand the struggle of the average Nigerian. He doesn't care so much. If he loses this one, he will go back to Dubai and wait out the next 4 years before coming out again. Besides the fact that his ambition is scary, we can't afford to have a Paul Biya of Cameroun as President. 2. Another has been controlling Lagos treasury since 2003. He just wants to fulfill his lifetime political ambition of answering President, even if he dies the next day after swearing-in. He would properly share Nigeria like cake to his boys....just like he did in Lagos. At the end of the day, he would teach us what being "fantastically corrupt&quo
