Obey the Council policies - MLSCN CEO to the Head of Medical Laboratory programs

The Registrar/CEO, Prof Tosan Erhabor today, charged Medical Laboratory Scientists to live above board by obeying the polices of the Council for the good of the profession.
Addressing a meeting of Heads of Medical Laboratory Science programs in Colleges and Schools of Health Technology and the Management of the Council, in Abuja, the Registrar warned the institutions that attendance to quarterly meetings with the Council was mandatory and any institution not represented would be blacklisted. “If you’re not interested in meeting with or interacting with us, how would you know what is going on? Therefore, if you are not willing to work with us as a family, we would have no option than to equally keep you at arm’s length,” he said.
The Registrar also frowned at professionals who are pursuing partisan or personal interests by covertly perpetuating the polarization of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN). "This must stop! The gladiators must sheath their swords for the greater good of the profession entrusted in our care by those who came before us. We owe it a duty to protect it, so that those coming behind us can also have a profession to call their own,” he added.
