AMELTAN Kaduna State Visit SPHCB Executive Secretary
The Executives of the Association of Medical Laboratory Technicians and Assistants of Nigeria Kaduna State, led by the Laboratory Coordinator (MLS Nicholas) and AMELTAN newly Elected executives paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Jamoh, The Executive Secretary, Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board Kaduna, Director Admin and Director SPHCB.
Objectives of the Visit:
. Familiarization Visits.
- Foster collaboration between the Association and the Board.
Dr. Bello Jamoh while responding said Professional visibility is the hallmark of every profession. Funding challenges faced by the board's Laboratories in our primary health care centers. However he expressed enthusiasm for advocacy for preliminary laboratory investigations in our primary health care laboratories.
Dr. Bello Jamoh urged the Association to innovate and explore affordable healthcare solutions accross the State. He expressed openness to collaboration and partnership.
He stressed the importance of government focus on primary health care centers, which serves as the first point of access for rural communities and villages across Kaduna State.
The visit demonstrates AMELTAN commitment to improving healthcare services in Kaduna State. By working together, AMELTAN and the Primary Health care board can address healthcare challenges and enhance the well-being of local communities.
The Director welcome all the Newly Executive and wish them successful Tenure.
The Director welcome and wish all the Newly elected executive successful Tenure also advice the Association to inform their members accross the State on the issues of none compliance by their facilities in purchasing laboratory commodities at the central store.
Also Laboratory investigations are costly at facilities, which she advised the Association and coordinator to work hand in hand in resolved this issues.
