Angola Former President died at 79

Angola's former President Jose Eduardo Dos Santos has died aged 79 at a clinic in Spain.
He ruled for 38 years (1979-2017).

His daughter, Isabel is facing a $1.1 billion corruption case.

His son, Jose Filomeno is serving a 5 year jail term for a $500 million corruption case. 

His daughter, Isabel Dos Santos was the Chairperson of Angola's state and gas company, Sonangol from 2016-2017.

His son, José Filomeno dos Santos was the Chairman of Angola's Sovereign Wealth Fund from 2013-2018.

His daughter, Welwitschia dos Santos was an MP from 2012-2022. 

In 2021, Forbes removed Isabel Dos Santos from its Billionaires list over her $1.1 billion corruption case.
