Permanent secretary died 24 hours after swearing in

A newly sworn in Permanent Secretary of the Ogun State Ministry of Information and Strategy, Mrs Olubunmi Odumusi has died.

Odumusi, 57, was said to have died in her sleep around midnight on Friday, September 2, after a prolonged cancer battle.

According to Vanguard, the state Governor, Ibikunle Amosun had just sworn in the deceased as a Permanent Secretary 24 hours earlier.

Report said the ailment had gulped huge sums of money from the family to get the deceased treated in Nigeria and overseas.
