RCCG donates materials to Baptist Girls College's sickbay

As the activity marking 2016 Christian/Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Beautiful Gate Assembly of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Ogun Province 1 donated some materials to the sickbay of the Baptist Girls College, Idi-aba, Abeokuta.

Meanwhile, the church established a branch in the college last year called RCCG, Teenage centre Assembly.

The materials donated includes: RDT (For Malaria test), Mattresses, pillows, bed spreads, pillow cases, bandages, fridge, standing fan, transistor radio, kidney dish, curtains, hand sanitizer, painting of the sick bay, painting and repair of the beds etc.

When accepting it, the principal (Junior school), Mrs Lukulo Sodipo, promised that the students will make good use of the facilities to the glory of God and the assistant Head girl, Miss Ojedapo Grace, thanked The Redeemed Christian Church of God for the donation.

The activity was witnessed by the principal (Junior school), Mrs Lukulo Sodipo, Provincial pastor, RCCG Ogun 1, Pastor A. M. Aduradola, School Matron  Mrs Elegbede, House Matron, Mrs Durojaiye, Asst Prov Pastor, Pastor Olayemi, BGA Area Pastor, Pastor Sonde, Parish pastor, teenage centre Assembly, pastor Adesanya, Church members and students of the college.

CBN knocks banks for shunning eNaira

The Central Bank of Nigeria on Wednesday knocked commercial banks across the country for not promoting the e-Naira launched with fanfare by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari(retd.), in October, 2021. The apex bank also explained the operational benefits of its newly introduced eNaira to the public. Officials of the CBN took turns in Kaduna on Wednesday to lecture youth corps members, hundreds of students from tertiary institutions across the state and other members of the public on the eNaira initiative. Head, Development Finance Department of the CBN, Aminu Muhammad, an assistant director, said financial institutions under the purview of the CBN were supposed to play these critical roles in growing our economy. Some of the athletes who will be representing Nigeria at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow are crying over their condition since their arrival in Scotland over the weekend.
