THE SHIELD OF FAVOUR

TEXT: PSALMS 5:12
[12]For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

Shield is a protection from attack of the enemies. 
When we talk about weapons of war, we have a weapon of attack and defense which is a shield.
The shield is very important in Eph 6:11-18, v.16 made reference to the shield. Even if the sword drops from the hand of a warrior in the battlefield, if he still has his shield, he is protected. Even in boxing, they keep their guide.

Gen 15:1, God told Abraham that He is his shield

Favour is something that gives you the advantage of what you need, for example, we can’t see electricity but we can see its effect.
It causes one to excel and single one out for success e.g 

Joseph: he was not the first or the last born but received favour from the father and gave him a coat of many colours, which attracted envy from his brothers Gen 37:3-11, the brothers threw him into a pit Gen 37:19-24. And sold him to slavery and when he got to Portiphar’s house, he received favour, Gen 39:1-6, (v7-29) he was sent to prison and the jailer handed over the affair of the prison to his care. Gen 41:1-44, he moved from prison to the throne overnight.

Peter: When the place is crowded, Jesus used his boat by favour and his life changed for the better Luke 5:1-11, Jesus still looked for him after denying him three times, John 21:15-19. Favour will make God overlook your mistakes Luke 22:31-32.

If you want the shield over you to be permanent, you have to be holy Gen 39:7-10, stay away from sin Num 2:317-24, the man gave another advice to the king Num 25:1-9, sin can turn your friend (God) to your Arch-enemy.

Psalm 18:35, Salvation is a shield, sin can prevent the shield of God from ones life.

Beware of sin, sin can destroy, run to Jesus, Jesus can save.

Stay away from sin.

Adekunle Olalekan Adeniji, was committed to mother Earth at his residence on Sunday 14th January, 2024 amidst tears and crying. NANNM Issues 15-Day Ultimatum to FG on Nurses' Verification and Other Demands

The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has issued a 15-day ultimatum to the Federal Government of Nigeria to address the long-standing demands of Nigerian nurses.  This decision was made during the NANNM's National Executive Council meeting in Abuja on August 28, 2024. The association is seeking: 1. Immediate Reopening of Nurses' Verification Portal:  The NMCN, a parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Health, should reopen the verification portal to enable nurses to explore better opportunities, pursue further studies, and complete necessary tasks. 2.
