LABOUR DECLARES MASS PROTEST NATIONWIDE OVER HARDSHIP

Sequel to the worsening economic hardship in the country, the leadership of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has declared a two-day nationwide mass protest for February 27 and 28.

NLC President Joe Ajaero, made this known on Friday during a press conference at Labour House, Abuja.

NLC and the Trade Union Congress, TUC, had on February 9, issued a 14-day ultimatum to the Federal Government to implement agreements reached with workers to ease economic hardship in the country.
