Odua Youth Parliament passes vote of confidence on the chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa

The Odua Youth Parliament recently took a significant step by passing a vote of confidence in the Nigerian Army. This decision reflects their endorsement of the leadership provided by Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa. The parliament also expressed gratitude towards the Nigerian Army as a whole and extended appreciation to the Minister of Defence for their unwavering support in ensuring the security of Nigeria.

Speaker Abdulmajeed Oyeniyi while speaking, said that,the Odua Youth Parliament underscores the recognition of the efforts made by the Nigerian Army in safeguarding the nation. General Christopher Musa's leadership has evidently garnered positive acknowledgment, as reflected in the vote of confidence passed by the youth parliament.

In addition to commending the Nigerian Army and its leadership, the Odua Youth Parliament's statement emphasized the importance of continued support from all stakeholders. We specifically called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to persist in supporting the Nigerian Army, reinforcing the idea that collective efforts are crucial in maintaining the safety and protection of Nigerian citizens.

Our plea to President Tinubu indicates a desire for sustained collaboration between the government and the military, underscoring the belief that such cooperation is essential in addressing the security challenges faced by the nation.
