Nigeria @63... Subsidy Removal should be a blessing not a Curse.
* NANS SENATE Aspirant Commend Tinubu on bold step taken on subsidy removal.
Comrade Olalere Benedict Adetunji the leading NANS Senate President Aspirant commend President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on removal of petrol subsidy. I considered it as a decision that was made after careful consideration of our country's economic realities and the long-term well-being of our citizens.
The removal of petrol subsidy is not a decision taken lightly, but it is a bold step towards securing a prosperous future for our nation. This decision demonstrates our government's commitment to fiscal responsibility and economic sustainability. It is a testament to our dedication to ensuring that our nation's resources are allocated wisely, benefitting all citizens. The pains of the subsidy removal is telling on Nigerians most especially Nigerian Students but the pain can't be compare or quantify with the gain in the nearest future.
However, this step taken has been in the process for years in the heart of the past Presidents but Asiwaju has taken most courageous steps to stop this abnormalities that has allowed few Nigerian to to milked Nigeria Economy for decades.
Furthermore, the removal of petrol subsidies will encourage more responsible consumption of this finite resource. It will spur innovation and investment in renewable energy sources, reducing our dependence on fossil fuels and mitigating the environmental impact of our energy consumption. This decision aligns with our commitment to a greener, more sustainable future for our nation.
I equally understand Nigerians pain and acknowledged our resilience in a challenging moment like this. The change is challenging on the part of desiring a prosperous nation. I urge the government (Federal and State) to put adequate measures to alleviate the effect of subsidy on the masses to a large extend without further delay and reach out to Nigerian Students directly through NANS .
Benedict appreciate the sense of reasoning of the current NANS President and Senate President, Comrade Umar Barambu and Comrade Attah for the support given to President Tinubu policy on subsidy removal, this is a good signal that Nigerian Students are partners in progress, also given kudos to the likes of Leader Smart and Comrade Farouk and NANS Stakeholders for their absolute Commitment to the Success of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration, Nigerian Students are more inclined with the advancement of Nigeria Now.
I will also like to appeal to NLC to find a better means of getting the welfare of their members without paralyzing the Economy of the Country .
Together, we will build a brighter future for our beloved developing nation. Thank you, and may our nation continue to thrive and prosperous.
Happy Independence Day to us all.
