There are several notion regards Otunba Seye Famojuro, a close ally of His Excellency Engr.Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, I had several encounter with Otunba Seye Famojuro immediately after my election as NAPS President, during the preparation for our inauguration i met him to seek for his support, and also during the protest of Barakat that was raped and killed at Akinyele, a student of Federal College of Animal Health and Production, we approached him for support towards the accomodations for the Students and Stakeholders that came from other States, he gave us total support by making provisions of A3 Hotel for everyone that came, it was during Comrade Bamidele Danielson Regime as NANS President,  and on several occasions he has given adequate support to the students community in Oyo State, he has shown that is lovely Leader and Father to the Students community in Oyo, but there is something that cut my heart during the campaign of Omituntun 2.0, i use

The Ogun State Government, on Thursday commiserated with the Chiefs and the Gbagura community over the transition of Agura of Gbagura, Alayeluwa, Oba Sabur Babajide Ishola Bakre Oba Bakre, who was the 9th Agura of Gbagura died on Wednesday, 14th June, 2023 at the age of 61. A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr. Tokunbo Talabi said: “The State Government, with heavy heart, announce the transition of Alayeluwa, Oba Sabur Babajide Ishola Bakre, the 9th Agura of Gbaguraland, on 14th of June, 2023. Chef Dammy has responded to Guinness World Records ’ report on her 120-hour cook-a-thon attempt. There were reports that Chef Dammy did not formally apply to the recording authority before undertaking the challenge to surpass current record holder, Hilda Baci’s cooking record. GWR, in a viral report, denied the Ekiti born Chef’s participation in the race of world record holders. In a statement on her official Facebook page, the Ekiti Chef clarified her intention with the 120-hour cook-a-thon was to push her abilities rather than aiming to break any records.  She expressed happiness for persevering and not giving up. “I stated this earlier that I embarked on this journey to test my capability not for any GWR.. l am happy that I cooked for 120 hours. I am proud that I never gave up,” she said.

After dancing for five days straight, 16-year-old student Srushti Sudhir Jagtap (India) has broken the record for the longest dance marathon by an individual , with a time of 127 hours. The previous record of 126 hours was set by Nepalese dancer Bandana Nepal in 2018. Srushti’s dance marathon took place in her college’s auditorium, which was “jam packed with supporters,” as described by GWR Official Adjudicator Swapnil Dangarikar. “There were moments of her being too tired, but her parents were by her side all the time, spraying her face with water to keep her fresh,” Swapnil said. “Very impressive performance overall.” Srushti’s attempt began on the morning of 29 May and continued until the afternoon of 3 June. Afterwards, she slept for an entire day. Hilda Baci awarded record for world’s longest cooking marathon

Following a thorough review of all the evidence, Guinness World Records can now confirm that Hilda Effiong Bassey, better known as Hilda Baci , has officially broken the record for the longest cooking marathon (individual) , with a time of 93 hours 11 minutes. The 26-year-old Nigerian chef began on Thursday 11 May and continued through to Monday 15 May, cooking over 100 pots of food during her four-day kitchen stint. Hilda attempted to set a record of 100 hours, however, almost seven hours were deducted from her final total because she mistakenly took extra minutes for one of her rest breaks early on in the attempt. As with all ‘longest marathon’ records, the participant is permitted a five-minute rest break for every continuous hour of activity. These rest breaks can be accumulated if not taken. NAFDAC seals shop for allegedly selling unregistered aphrodisiacs in Zuba

Nafdac Building The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, on Thursday sealed a shop in Zuba, an outskirt of FCT, for allegedly selling unapproved aphrodisiacs to Nigerians. Some of the aphrodisiacs are: garin yansun, sabon mai-siket, ruwan jaraba, tunkude, fenugreek powder and al-khausara herbal syrup (man power). Bubuchiki Godiya, a member of the Federal Taskforce, Investigation and Enforcement Directorate of NAFDAC, said that “the agency received an Intel that Yunusa Adamu was manufacturing unregistered herbal preparation.” He Godiya said that the agency sent some of its team members to investigate and on arrival they found that there were many unregistered herbal drugs. He said that Adamu claimed to have purchased the herbal drugs from Kano and Kaduna markets. In a surprising move, the governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde, has named the Idi Ape to Akobo-Olorunda as Governor Nyesom Wike road after Nyesom Wike, the former governor of Rivers State. The announcement was made at the flag-off of the dualization of the road Olorunda Abaa road on Friday. The governor stated that the road will provide relief for motorists and residents, and enhance the development of the axis upon completion. He also revealed that 30 percent of the total sum has been paid to the contractor and that the project will be completed in twelve months. Despite the confusion surrounding the naming of the road, residents of the area are excited about the reconstruction work that has started. The Governor, in his speech at the flag off, said: “We know that things are getting harder because the subsidy on PMS has been removed and this has made transportation cost increase further. So, we have decided to deploy more Omituntun buses to ease the transportation worries. The Federal Government has designed a National Pay Policy (NPP) to check arbitrariness in the workplace and to ensure appropriate remuneration for Nigerian workers. The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Salaries Incomes and Wages Commission (NSIWC), Ekpo Nta, made this known on Wednesday in Abuja. Speaking with Daily Sun, Nta said the policy will calculate the number of hours a worker spends in the office and the quality of work done which will determine salary payment. He said: “What it entails is that when people are working in any country, even in your own private organization, you have a policy guiding them. For example, for a fresh appointment in government, you know that you will work for 35 years or at age 60, whichever comes first, you leave that system. “So, those are the kinds of policies you have to put in place.
