I was not after Guinness World Record, says Chef Dammy

Chef Dammy Guinness World Record

Chef Dammy has responded to Guinness World Records’ report on her 120-hour cook-a-thon attempt.

There were reports that Chef Dammy did not formally apply to the recording authority before undertaking the challenge to surpass current record holder, Hilda Baci’s cooking record.

GWR, in a viral report, denied the Ekiti born Chef’s participation in the race of world record holders.

In a statement on her official Facebook page, the Ekiti Chef clarified her intention with the 120-hour cook-a-thon was to push her abilities rather than aiming to break any records.

She expressed happiness for persevering and not giving up.

“I stated this earlier that I embarked on this journey to test my capability not for any GWR.. l am happy that I cooked for 120 hours. I am proud that I never gave up,” she said.
