Ogun AMELTAN To Host her 8th Biomedical Conference.

The Association of Medical Laboratory Technicians and Assistants of Nigeria (AMELTAN), Ogun State Chapter is set to hold her 8th Biomedical Conference on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th October, 2022.

According to the report made available by the Organizing Secretary, Com Opeoluwa Popoola, the program is said to come up at the International Conference Centre and Telemedicine Hall, Federal Medical Centre, Idi-aba, Abeokuta.

The topic for the 2022 Biomedical Conference is Strategies For Meaningful and Sustainable Improvements To Reduce Incidence Of Cancer In Nigeria with four (4) subthemes including:
1. Cancer and it's types
2. General awareness of Cancer and Statistics in Nigeria.
3. Laboratory diagnosis of cancer and 
4. Principle of cancer prevention and Management.

The key Note speaker is a Consultant Oncologist/ SSA to Ogun State Governor on Health Matter, Dr Kehinde Olayiwola Ololade, under the Chairmanship of Prof. Abdus Samiu A. Musa-Olomu, Medical Director, Federal Medical Centre Idi-aba Abeokuta.

Adekunle Olalekan Adeniji, was committed to mother Earth at his residence on Sunday 14th January, 2024 amidst tears and crying. NANNM Issues 15-Day Ultimatum to FG on Nurses' Verification and Other Demands

The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has issued a 15-day ultimatum to the Federal Government of Nigeria to address the long-standing demands of Nigerian nurses.  This decision was made during the NANNM's National Executive Council meeting in Abuja on August 28, 2024. The association is seeking: 1.
