OBMS celebrates 2020 end of the year/ Christmas party

Oritamefa Baptist Model School (OBMS), Total garden, Ibadan celebrates the 2020 end of the year and Christmas party on the 15th December 2020 at the chapel.
The event was decorated with various activities including song presentations by the students, choreography and drama presentation was not left out.

The event was spiced-up by the word of God by Revd, Dr. Remi Awopegba with a topic Are you prepared for a landing space for Jesus? With a text from Luke 2 verse 7.

Revd Awopegba Begins by welcoming all the members of the board of the school from the Principal, Mrs Odekunle, Admin officers and the vice chairman of the board.

Among those in attendance includes the Vice Principal, Mr Oni, Mr Adebanwo, Mrs Adeloye, HODs like Mssr Adewale, Class tutors, subject teachers, and most importantly Mr Sunday Adegoke Adeoye - who had been away for sometimes due to his involvement in an accident.
Special activity of the event is the recognition and Awards of excellence to an SS 2 student, Master Samuel Aina, who won a tuition scholarship.

He added that among the SS 3 students, 8 of the students won a scholarship for A level till university level.

He also encouraged the students to watch a type of friends they keep and admonished them not to play away during the festive seasons.

The event was crowned with presentation of gift to all students by their class teachers and refreshments to all parents present at the program.

The remains of the late Ogun state secretary of the National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria (NACHPN), Com. Adekunle Olalekan Adeniji, was committed to mother Earth at his residence on Sunday 14th January, 2024 amidst tears and crying. The body of the late scribe left the morgue at Isara for his Olomore Abeokuta residence as final resting place at about 1pm and was committed to mother Earth around 3pm after a short church service. The late scribe was involved in an auto accident on Saturday morning while returning from a journey. The late scribe of the National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria (NACHPN), Ogun state chapter, Com Adeniyi Adekunle died in an auto accident on Saturday 13th January, 2024. NANNM Issues 15-Day Ultimatum to FG on Nurses' Verification and Other Demands

The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has issued a 15-day ultimatum to the Federal Government of Nigeria to address the long-standing demands of Nigerian nurses.  This decision was made during the NANNM's National Executive Council meeting in Abuja on August 28, 2024. The association is seeking: 1.
