Ogun ICA held a day Leadership Seminar

Independent Churches of Aladura Worldwide, Ogun State Chapter holds One day Seminar and Orientation program tagged REMO LEADERSHIP SEMINAR at Everlasting Covenant Church of Christ Aladura Sabo, Sagamu on 26th November, 2020.
The seminar had in attendance members of the Organization across all regions of Ogun State - Remo, Ijebu, Yewa and Egba - enmass.

The Keynote Speaker, Primate Dr. Emmanuel Akintona, an associate Professor in Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta and General Overseer of IYAACON, gave a Power Point presentation on the theme: The PROSPECTS of ALADURA CHURCHES In 21st Century.

Other Speakers at the leadership Seminar and Orientation are His Grace, Apostle J. Olu Popoola on the topic, ICA: Our Vision, objectives and Relationships with other religious Organization and Elder Samuel Oguntade, the State Chairman of AMELTAN, Ogun State who delivered lecture on the topic: YOU and Your Health.
In the closing remark made by Sup. Rev. Mother Shofuyi, the Matron of the Organization appreciated the National Executive and planning committee for the success of the seminar while participants at the seminar appreciated the gesture with a prayer to God to enlarge ICA worldwide.

While speaking with our correspondence, the National Secretary, Pastor Opeoluwa Popoola gave thanks to God Almighty for the success of the seminar that also featured the launching of the Organization Almanac  and he appreciated all the resource persons, invited guests and all participants across the state for attending the seminar and Orientation. 

He added that the membership of the Organization is open to all as it's not limited to white garment Churches alone. 

He stressed further that "The Organization is solely a religious group and fellowship of indigenous Independent Churches, working together to promote the glory of God by encouraging the growth and unity of member Churches and by helping them to uphold the scriptural doctrine in order to lead the nation and her people to partake of Christ's Salvation and all its fruits".

    Glory to God for the success of the program. Kudos to our National Leader, His Eminence Apostle J. Popoola, BODs, Matrons & Matronesses, National, State and LG executives, the LOC and everyone who contributed to the success recorded. May the flag of ICA continue to fly high at full mast in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

The remains of the late Ogun state secretary of the National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria (NACHPN), Com. Adekunle Olalekan Adeniji, was committed to mother Earth at his residence on Sunday 14th January, 2024 amidst tears and crying. The body of the late scribe left the morgue at Isara for his Olomore Abeokuta residence as final resting place at about 1pm and was committed to mother Earth around 3pm after a short church service. The late scribe of the National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria (NACHPN), Ogun state chapter, Com Adeniyi Adekunle died in an auto accident on Saturday 13th January, 2024. Below are 15 facts about the late General secretary: 1. He was born to the family of Late pa J. K. Adeniji in Oke-odan, yewa South local government area of Ogun state. 2. He was born on the 17th of March, 1984. 3. He was the fourth (4th) child out of six (6) children. 4. NANNM Issues 15-Day Ultimatum to FG on Nurses' Verification and Other Demands

The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has issued a 15-day ultimatum to the Federal Government of Nigeria to address the long-standing demands of Nigerian nurses.  This decision was made during the NANNM's National Executive Council meeting in Abuja on August 28, 2024. The association is seeking: 1. Immediate Reopening of Nurses' Verification Portal:  The NMCN, a parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Health, should reopen the verification portal to enable nurses to explore better opportunities, pursue further studies, and complete necessary tasks. 2.
