Coconut water is attributed with a myriad of benefits such as alleviating hangovers, treating kidney stones and cancer. In fact, it is in such high demand that it has been dubbed, ‘Mother Nature’s sports drink’.

It is truly beneficial because of it despite its sweet taste, the sugar therein is actually healthy and very easy to digest. It releases the needed energy per time. Perhaps, this accounts for why it has become a favorite among athletes. An added benefit of coconut water is that it is packed with antioxidants, minerals like potassium, calcium, and vitamins such as vitamin C and B complex.
