OMG! Female Student Turns Into Snake After Fun Nights With Sugar Daddy

It was like a scene from a horror movie when a popular ‘happening babe’ of the University of Nairobi, Kenya, turned into a big snake few minutes after a man said to be her sugar daddy, dropped her at her hostel residence. Narrating the chilling incident, one of the victim’s close friends who witnessed the scenario said: “Everything happened so quickly, she had just alighted from the vehicle and I saw her walk into her room. I was on my way to her room when I heard her screaming. I quickly pushed the door open an behold I saw her turning into a snake, on her bed, right before my very own eyes.” Reacting to the news, authorities of the University of Nairobi has given strict warning to the female students of the Institution to avoid going out with strangers in order to avert a recurrence of a similar case. I hope they listen! Meanwhile security operatives are currently searching for the suspected man, while the eye witness has been remanded in custody for further interrogation. In a

The ex-minister made the claims via a post on his Facebook page. Read the post below: Most of our leaders are not human. They are what Mr. David Icke, the famous British historian and public speaker describes as "hybrids" and "reptilians" who are working for a hidden hand and some very dark and sinister forces. It is in that context that you can understand their exceptional callousness. They are cold-blooded reptiles and certified psychopaths. Between 2005 and 2006, just before I was rede

Agric Minister: Naira Will go for N1000 Per Dollar If Things Continue Same Way

Nigeria's Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh, has sounded a warning that the naira could become totally worthless at the international stage if the status quo is maintained.  Speaking on Wednesday in Abuja, he complained that the consumption of rice by Nigerians is on the rise and that a lot of people were not aware that rice had some degree of arsenic. Substituting the excess rice with potato would be welcomed development, he said. He also said Nigerian businessmen demanded 2.5 billion dollars (about N492 billion) a week for importation of goods and services into the country. “The volume of importation of virtually everything into this country is too much," he said. “We sat and were hoping that by devaluation, we are going to arrive at Eldorado; if we continue like this, it will be a thousand naira to a dollar,’’ he said.

Speaking to representatives from student unions around the country, the minister announced the shocking move and urged future university entrees to consider taking Witchcraft. “There is a lot we can learn from witchcraft, like how they fly in that winnowing basket. Imagine if we learn that skill. It will eradicate traffic jams and everyone will just get in their basket and fly. It also means we will not be importing fuel anymore.” Blade said. The announcement was met with boos and bottle throws from the packed auditorium who had gone to the meeting hoping the minister would announce a 0% fee increase for the coming year. The unperturbed minister also invited renowned witches to make an appointment with his office so they can have their skills tested and those outstanding would then be hired as lecturers. 'I can't serve in Buhari's govt.' - Former minister says

Former Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has opposed the idea of her accepting a political appointment from President Muhammadu Buhari. She said she has proudly served the nation to the best of her ability for seven years, and will not take any offer to serve in the Nigerian government again. Speaking as a guest on Al-Jazeera, Okonjo-Iweala said she has learnt to talk less as she has grown older. When was asked if she would take a position in the Buhari administration if offered, she said: "I served my country for seven years and it was a great honor. The second time was very tough but it is still an honor. I am not the only person who is a repository of knowledge. There are other people who can equally try their hands in running the economy." "One of the things you learn as you get wiser is to talk less as you grow older. I have spent my time contributing to the country. It will be better to leave those managing the economy to do what they know how to do. Th

Pencil story

Once upon a time........ A boy was watching his grandmother write a letter. At one point he asked: ‘Are you writing a story about what we’ve done? Is it a story about me?’ His grandmother stopped writing her letter and said to her grandson: I am writing about you,... actually, but more important than the words is the pencil I’m using. I hope you will be like this pencil when you grow up.’ Intrigued, the boy looked at the pencil. It didn’t seem very special. ‘But it’s just like any other pencil I’ve ever seen!’ ‘That depends on how you look at things. It has five qualities which, if you manage to hang on them, will make you a person who is always at peace with the world.’ ‘First quality: you are capable of great things, but you must never forget that there is a hand guiding your steps. We call that hand God, and He always guides us according to His will.’ ‘Second quality: now and then, I have to stop writing and use a sharpner. That makes the pencil s

He advised that all Nigerians must collectively confront underdevelopment instead of giving excuses and blaming each other. South-West Obas: Set to mediate with modern dispute resolution techniques

As the judiciary spreads the gospel of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and mediators reiterate that the increasing conflicts within communities need traditional methods of resolution, traditional rulers in the South-West have been selected to become recognized mediators and  ensure the enforcement of settlements resulting from dispute resolutions based on their antecedents as natural peace keepers . YEJIDE GBENGA-OGUNDARE, who was at a conflict management and ADR training for the Obas writes on the willingness of traditional rulers to rival any court of law in arbitration. Conflict is a part of human life. And the ability to resolve disputes within a community has been said to be a determinant of how successful such a society will be as well as the level of development that will be experienced in such a community. Being an enlightened society, the Yoruba community since time immemorial had a solid structure on the management of its community which served them well and ensured th

Scientists have finally figured out how cancer spreads through the bloodstream

Image
And that means we might be able to stop it. In what could be a major step forward in our understanding of how cancer moves around the body, researchers have observed the spread of cancer cells from the initial tumour to the bloodstream. The findings suggest that secondary growths called metastases 'punch' their way through the walls of small blood vessels by targeting a molecule known as Death Receptor 6 (no, really, that's what it's called). This then sets off a self-destruct process in the blood vessels, allowing the cancer to spread. According to the team from Goethe University Frankfurt and the Max Planck Institute in Germany, disabling Death Receptor 6 (DR6) may effectively block the spread of cancerous cells - so long as there aren't alternative ways for the cancer to access the bloodstream. "This mechanism could be a promising starting point for treatments to prevent the formation of metastases,"  said lead researcher Stefan Offermanns . Catchi

HEPATITIS B

Image
INTRODUCTIONS Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver. The condition can be self-limiting or can progress to fibrosis (scarring), cirrhosis or liver cancer. Hepatitis viruses are the most common cause of hepatitis in the world but other infections, toxic substances (e.g. alcohol, certain drugs), and autoimmune diseases can also cause hepatitis. There are 5 main hepatitis viruses, referred to as types A, B, C, D and E. These 5 types are of greatest concern because of the burden of illness and death they cause and the potential for outbreaks and epidemic spread. In particular, types B and C lead to chronic disease in hundreds of millions of people and, together, are the most common cause of liver cirrhosis and cancer. Hepatitis A and E are typically caused by ingestion of contaminated food or water. Hepatitis B, C and D usually occur as a result of parenteral contact with infected body fluids. Common modes of transmission for these viruses include receipt of contaminated blood or bl
