Michael Carrick contract details leaked as Man Utd table offer to manager
Michael Carrick is in talks over a permanent deal at Manchester United, with the club set to offer the former midfielder a permanent contract.

Manchester United are set to table an offer to Michael Carrick for a two-year deal as head coach. Carrick, who assumed interim managerial duties following the dismissal of Ruben Amorim in January, has made a positive impression in the dugout at Old Trafford. The Red Devils sit third in the table, and appear poised to secure Champions League football next season.
And they could be doing so with Carrick at the helm, with discussions reportedly ongoing after co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe authorised the move following a meeting with chief executive Omar Berrada and director of football Jason Wilcox regarding Carrick's future. According to The Athletic, there remains a chance an agreement can be reached in time for United's final home fixture of the campaign against Nottingham Forest.
