Sugar decreases immunity 17 times!

Endocrinologists have calculated that within six to seven hours after consuming sugar, the body's immune response decreases 17 times. This is because the chemical composition and properties of sugar are similar to those of vitamin C. And vitamin C is an immune stimulant.

Because of the similarity of the chemical composition of these substances, the body can confuse them when consuming a lot of sugar. Phagocytes - cells of the immune system feed on vitamin C, but can make a mistake and absorb sugar, because chemically, in structure, it is identical to ascorbic acid.

But when it enters the cell, the compound of glucose and fructose instantly destroys it from the inside, due to which the immunity decreases. For this reason, sweet mixtures and syrups for diseases are not the best solution.
