MLSCN announces the death of Registrar/CEO

The management and staff of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN), has announces the sudden death of the Council Registrar/CEO, Professor Tosan Erhabor, which occured on the 13th April, 2025.
The circular titled OBITUARY, reads:

With a deep sense of sorrow, yet with gratitude to God for an impactful life, the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) announces the sudden passage of its amiable Registrar/CEO, Prof Tosan Amos Erhabor, which sad event occurred on the April 13 2025.

Prof Erhabor, a renowned Medical Laboratory Scientist, joined the Council in 1996 from University of Benin Teaching Hospital Benin as a Principal Medical Laboratory Scientist and grew through the ranks to become Registrar/CEO of the Council, a position he held until his passage. In addition to his humility and cheerful demeanor, he would be remembered as a transformational leader and a tireless reformer, who digitalized MLSCN's processes for effectiveness, efficiency and transparency. He tenaciously pursued excellence in service delivery anchored on the MLSCN Quality Tripod, expanded the scope of medical laboratory accreditation, as well as training institutions, among other achievements.

May his gentle soul find rest in the bosom of the Lord, Amen!
