MHWUN OGUN Election: HMB Elders endorsed Com. Olojede Kayode as CHAIRMAN.

The esteemed Elders of HMB recently convened a meeting, where they unanimously endorsed Comrade Kayode Olojede as their preferred candidate for the position of Chairman at the forthcoming State Delegate Conference of the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN), Ogun State Council. The conference is scheduled to take place on September 11, 2024.

This endorsement aligns with the agreement reached at the Elders Forum meeting chaired by Comrade Akeem Balogun in June 2019 in Abeokuta.

The HMB Elders present at the meeting included:

- Comrade (Mrs.) Olatunji
- Comrade Sunday Akanbi
- Comrade (Mrs.) Akinsola
- Comrade Samson Ogundare

Their collective endorsement is a testament to Comrade Kayode Olojede's leadership qualities, experiences and vision for the union. We look forward to his contributions as Chairman.

The remains of the late Ogun state secretary of the National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria (NACHPN), Com. Adekunle Olalekan Adeniji, was committed to mother Earth at his residence on Sunday 14th January, 2024 amidst tears and crying. The body of the late scribe left the morgue at Isara for his Olomore Abeokuta residence as final resting place at about 1pm and was committed to mother Earth around 3pm after a short church service. The late scribe of the National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria (NACHPN), Ogun state chapter, Com Adeniyi Adekunle died in an auto accident on Saturday 13th January, 2024. Below are 15 facts about the late General secretary: 1. He was born to the family of Late pa J. K. Adeniji in Oke-odan, yewa South local government area of Ogun state. 2. NANNM Issues 15-Day Ultimatum to FG on Nurses' Verification and Other Demands

The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has issued a 15-day ultimatum to the Federal Government of Nigeria to address the long-standing demands of Nigerian nurses.  This decision was made during the NANNM's National Executive Council meeting in Abuja on August 28, 2024. The association is seeking: 1. Immediate Reopening of Nurses' Verification Portal:  The NMCN, a parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Health, should reopen the verification portal to enable nurses to explore better opportunities, pursue further studies, and complete necessary tasks. 2.
