Tijani Habeebulahi Is FUNAAB New Students Union President

..Promises to Sustain Cordial Relationship Between Students and Management

Comr. Tijani Habeebulahi Adekunle, a 400-Level student of Animal Physiology, College of Animal Nutrition and Livestock Production (COLANIM), has been elected as the new President of the FUNAAB Student Union Government.

Comr. Tijani popularly known as "Kennyology", emerged as FUNAABSU President after an election that lasted hours.
Speaking with FUNAAB Bulletin, the newly elected FUNAABSU President disclosed that his Exco will ensure that there is a peaceful coexistence among students and the University Management, adding that they will always work together to promote the University's image.

He stated that his leadership will give room for communication with the Management, in order to forster synergy and enhance service delivery.

He however,assured his teeming fellow students that their welfare will be given utmost priority,, adding that his 4-point agenda which include quality representation, optimum welfarism, partnership  opportunities and improvement of social life and sport activities are implemented for their benefits.

Speaking on what motivated his interest in Student Unionism, Com. Tijani disclosed that he has always wanted to represent students voice and be responsible for those around him, noting that before his emergence as the SUG President, he has been opportune to represent Funaabites  and his community in various areas which has contributed to his leadership ideologies.

He expressed his willingness to work with his opponents and his cabinet members, stating that irrespective of their different ideologies and agenda, they all need to work together to achieve success for the interest of the students.

Also elected are Comr. Lawal Opeyemi as Vice President, Comr. Ismaila Emmanuel as General Secretary, Comr. Sodelola Elizabeth as Asst. General Secretary, and Comr. Diyaolu Favour as Social Director.

Others are Com. Adedoja Abdumujeeb as Director of Welfare, Comr. Evans Joseph as Director of Sports, Comr. Babalola Marufdeen as PRO, Comr. Onifade Timilehin as Director of Finance, and Comr. Ayanfemi Idowu as Director of Treasury.
