OSCOHTECH ALUMNI ELECTION: Progressive Team Host Online Debate

The Progressive Team of the Alumni Association of Ogun state College of Health Technology, Ilese-Ijebu, hosted an online debate session for their contestants on Sunday, September 4th, 2022 tagged MY MANIFESTO 

The online session convened by Comr. Popoola Opeoluwa (a.k.a Ayemi) and well moderated and coordinated by one of the stakeholder of the Alumni Association; Hon. Otuyiga Ibrahim (IB-OLAT) and Com. Onifade Segun (One time Editor in Chief of Trumpet Press Club) was hosted via WhatsApp platform.

The online debate session was attended by the six progressive aspirants, Com. Agbabiaka Eniola for the post of National President, Com Ogungbaibi Adepeju, Vice President (Admin) aspirant, Com. Ettu Oluwafunmilayo aspirant for the post of Asst. General Secretary and Com. Olawuyi Olanrewaju Thompson for the post of Financial Secretary.
However, Com. APAKALA Mariam Temitope candidate for the office of National Auditor and Com. Bello Azeez Alani for the office of Treasurer couldn't participate fully till the end of the seesion.

The Online session was well attended by many well meaning individuals and supporters of the Camp among whom are the convener, Com Popoola Opeoluwa, Com. Bamidele Oluwaseyi (Drogba), Hon. Azeez Tunde Osho (ATO), Com. Ibrahim Lawal and host of others.
Com Agbabiaka Abiola Eniola, a Pharmacy technician graduate in 2002, An Educationist and Biotechnologist, Married with kids. Based in Lagos,Nigeria and an aspirant for the post of Alumni Presidency, OGSCOHTECH. He was the first Male President of ASSOPASS, PRO SUG and member of different commitees.
Com. Lakunle Adepeju Ogungbaibi, was a Medical Laboratory technician graduate in 2004, the only female in the April 15 2004 accident that claimed the life of Hon. Abolaji Ogunbanwo (Sori sori). She is married with kids and an aspirant for the post of Alumni Vice President, Academics.
Com. Ettu Olufunmilayo was a graduate of Community Health department in 2004, contesting for the post of Assistant General Secretary
Com. Olawuyi Olanrewaju Thompson was a graduate from the department of Health Information Management in 2015 and the Association President 014/015 aspiring for the post of the National Financial Secretary.
San. Com Apakala Temitope Mariam gained admission to study Environmental health technology in the year 2007, In 2010/2011 she was a Student Union Government Vice President she is a member of Eko Club International medical mission, She worked under Lagos State ministry of environment Alaisan, Ikeja. She's Happily Married to a Hard working Husband and blessed with Wonderful children.

Com Bello Azeez Alani was a graduate of Community Health in 2012, he had served in various capacities as a student which includes, Welfare/Social Director for his department in 2011-2012, National Treasurer of Yewa Awori Students, Ogschotech chapter and was appointed and served as a Treasurer to the Last Alumni Electoral committee headed by Com Ogunsola Olanrewaju which produced the outgoing set of executive.

The remains of the late Ogun state secretary of the National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria (NACHPN), Com. Adekunle Olalekan Adeniji, was committed to mother Earth at his residence on Sunday 14th January, 2024 amidst tears and crying. The body of the late scribe left the morgue at Isara for his Olomore Abeokuta residence as final resting place at about 1pm and was committed to mother Earth around 3pm after a short church service. The late scribe was involved in an auto accident on Saturday morning while returning from a journey. The late scribe of the National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria (NACHPN), Ogun state chapter, Com Adeniyi Adekunle died in an auto accident on Saturday 13th January, 2024. Below are 15 facts about the late General secretary: 1. He was born to the family of Late pa J. K. Adeniji in Oke-odan, yewa South local government area of Ogun state. 2. He was born on the 17th of March, 1984. 3. He was the fourth (4th) child out of six (6) children. 4. NANNM Issues 15-Day Ultimatum to FG on Nurses' Verification and Other Demands

The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has issued a 15-day ultimatum to the Federal Government of Nigeria to address the long-standing demands of Nigerian nurses.  This decision was made during the NANNM's National Executive Council meeting in Abuja on August 28, 2024. The association is seeking: 1.
