SAD: Barr. David Babajide, who played the role of ‘Lagbaye’ in Abejoye movie passes on

One of the actors in the movie ‘Abejoye’, who played the role of Lagbaye; one of the traditionalists who visited Olayiotan Abejoye, Barrister David Adeyeye Babajide has been called unto eternal glory at age 64.

This was announced by on Flaming Sword Ministries official Facebook page three weeks after his demise. According to the information gathered, Barrister David Adeyeye Babajide slept in the Lord on the 28th of February, 2022 and would be laid to rest on 25th of March, 2022 after the service of song on the 24th of March.

Sharing the information and accompanied by the flyer designed for the burial arrangement, the post captioned; In submission to God’s perfect will, we’d like to announce the transition to glory of our dear father, brother and friend, Barrister David Adeyeye Babajide who slept in the Lord on February 28th, 2022.

Although we’ve lost a Co-laborer here on earth, we are at peace knowing that He is resting in the bosom of our God and King. He will be fondly remembered for His service and commitment to the propagation of the gospel and especially for his unique role as “Lagbaye” in Abejoye.

NANNM Issues 15-Day Ultimatum to FG on Nurses' Verification and Other Demands

The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has issued a 15-day ultimatum to the Federal Government of Nigeria to address the long-standing demands of Nigerian nurses.  This decision was made during the NANNM's National Executive Council meeting in Abuja on August 28, 2024. The association is seeking: 1. Immediate Reopening of Nurses' Verification Portal:  The NMCN, a parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Health, should reopen the verification portal to enable nurses to explore better opportunities, pursue further studies, and complete necessary tasks. 2.
