Ogun ICA hold Remo Leadership Seminar and Orientation

Ogun state chapter of The Independent Churches of Aladura (ICA) worldwide will be having their Remo leadership Seminar and Orientation with a theme: THE PROSPECTS OF ALADURA CHURCHES IN 21ST CENTURY which will come up on Thursday 26th November, 2020 by 10am at Everlasting Convenant Church of Christ Aladura situated at 36, Major Thompson road avenue, off GRA road, Sagamu.

The guest speakers are Primate Dr, Akintona and His Grace AP. J. Olu Popoola JP will be ministering on the sub theme: ICA: Our Vision, Objectives and Relationships with other religious organization

And. AP. Adewunmi Alayaki will be speaking on the topic that says "You and your Health".

While speaking with our correspondence, the Secretary, Pastor Popoola Opeoluwa, said that the gate fee for the program is two hundred and fifty naira (₦250).

He added that "The Organization is solely a religious group and fellowship of Indigenous Independent Churches, working together to promote the glory of God by encouraging the growth and unity of Member Churches, and by helping them to uphold the Scriptural doctrine in order to lead the nation and her people to partake of Christ's Salvation and all its fruits."

Doctors remove 40 knives from man’s stomach

A man in India spent two months swallowing knives and had 40 of them surgically removed from his stomach, according to the doctor who led the operation. “He had a wild urge to consume metal. Even for us, the experienced surgeons, it was frightening,” Dr. Jatinder Malhotra told  CNN.  “We were so nervous… a small mistake could have taken the patient’s life. In my 20 years of practice, I have never seen anything like it,” he added. Malhotra said it took his team about two days to form a diagnosis and surgery plan and the operation lasted for five hours. He revealed that they found foldable knives, which when fully extended were about seven inches long. “The patient told us that he swallowed some knives folded and some unfolded. SSANU protests sack of 23 FUNAAB workers, indicts EFCC

MEMBERS of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) yesterday rallied support for the 23 workers sacked by the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) in Ogun State. The association protested the sack by disrupting movement into the campus while they accused the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of betrayal by releasing the names of the whistleblowers to the management of FUNAAB.
