Dogara appointed as 2nd Chancellor of Achievers University

The former speaker of the Nigeria House of Representatives in the 8th assembly, Rt Hon Yakubu Dogara, was appointed as 2nd Chancellor of Achievers University, Owo, Ondo state.

Rt Hon Dogara expressed his satisfaction and gratitude on his Twitter account when he Twitter with photo, that:


"I am honoured to be appointed as the Chancellor of Achievers University, Owo, Ondo State. @achieversuniowo"

The event, which will come up on Saturday 9th November, 2019 at the Trinity Auditorium of the institution by 10am, will also feature the confernment of honourary doctorate degree on the former speaker.

Following the death of an Ebola virus victim from Liberia, Patrick Sawyer, in Lagos, on Thursday, the Federal Government and the Lagos State Government have jointly launched a manhunt for some of the passengers of the airplane that brought the late Liberian into the country, Sunday Newswatch has learnt.
