Banky W celebrates as he gets the highest number of votes in his polling unit in Lekki 1

Musician turned politician has taken to
celebrating his victory after he won the
highest number of votes in his polling unit
in Lekki 1. The overjoyed celebrity also
used the opportunity to address the trolls
and haters who looked down on his
ambition.

Banky W got a number of 575 votes in
Lekki 1 polling unit alone. This was
against the 454 votes and 540 votes
banked by the All Progressives Congress
and the Peoples Democratic Party
respectively.

In celebrating his win, the happy
celebrity shared the result of the
election conducted in that polling unit
on his Instagram page. From what he
shared, it could be seen that he was
leading prominently.

Banky W also wrote a lengthy caption
in which he thanked those who came
out to vote for him. He also took a jab at
those who did not believe in him enough
to support him.

The excited House of Reps candidate
contesting under the wings of a new
platform called Modern Democratic
Party revved up the enthusiasm of his
fans with the assertion that the
revolution has truly began.

See his post below:

"Thank you to EVERYONE who voted,
volunteered and donated. Collation of all
polling units in Eti-Osa is still ongoing,
but regardless of the final outcome,
please take a GOOD LOOK at how we
won my polling unit in Lekki 1!!!
"No Godfather, logo issues, crowd
sourced fundraising, online trolling..
many said we were wasting our time, but
we took our unknown party and built
our agent structure in less than 3
months - and we upset the big boys in
multiple polling units.
We proved that it CAN be done. The
movement has begun. We must sustain
this momentum. This is only the
beginning."
