Unless these killings stop, there may be no election next year - Pastor Adeboye

The National General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, made the statement on Friday 4th of May 2018 during the May edition of the Holy Ghost Service at the redemption camp, Ogun state Nigeria.

He said "there's no father who lose 19 children in a day and will not be quiet, ... because it doesn't matter the denomination by the spacial grace of God, all Christians in Nigeria call me daddy, so when any of them dies, it's my son that is dead or my daughter.

He added that "unless these killing stop, and stop immediately, even Nigeria may not live, I'm not talking about individual now, I'm talking about Nigeria as a whole".

"unless these killings stop, their may be no election next year..., because nobody will want to go out to vote if they are not sure they will be able to return home safe"

"There is nothing good about war, it's a terrible thing but a nation may survive civil war no nation can survive a religious war and remain the same, that Nigeria may live, these killings must stop.

He later challenged everybody that has Nigeria at heart to cry with all his or her heart to God that "Father, let the killings stop"

Meanwhile, a special adviser to the General Overseer, Pastor J. T. Kalejaye, had earlier admonished all Nigerians to go get their PVC in order to vote in the forthcoming election.
