Commonwealth Games: Nigeria’s Amusan wins gold medal in 100m race

Oluwatobiloba Amusan has won a gold medal in the women 100 metres hurdles at the ongoing  Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in Australia.

This victory has increased the number of  Nigeria’s medal to eight gold, five silver, and five bronze.

The 20-year-old athlete raced to cross the line in 12.68 seconds making her the first Nigerian to win the title at the 2018 Commonwealth games.

Nigeria has earlier recorded victory in shot-put, para-sport, table-tennis, and others at the on-going sports event.
