FUNAAB students protest over the harassment on lecturer by Trace corp

There was a protest this morning by the students of Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta at the Camp end of Obantoko following an harassments on a lecturer by the Trace corp and on the SUG president by the officer of Nigeria Police Force, Obantoko division.

Following the report received from the SUG PRO that he posted on Naira land yesterday, he says

"a funaab lecturer was arrested by trace and taken to obantoko police
station. He called the SUG PRESIDENT and wen he got there,there was
an exchange of verbal weapons which got presi beaten and
detained....the lecturer(a prof) is still in detention but president as been
released and told to appear at the station tomorrow morning for
further tinz"

"GREATEST NIGERIAN student due to the fact that our president was
detained and harrased by obantoko police station today, there is
going to be a peaceful protest tomorrow @ camp junction, we are going
to block the federal road @ camp between the hours of 6am-10ampls
pass this info until it reach the last funaabite

As regards to this, there was a peaceful protest today at camp causing traffic hold-up for motorist plowing the axis and every vehicle carrying students were asked to drop all students.

Therefore, all academic activities were paralyzed during the process.
