Lolly Jackson murder accused George Louca has died

JOHANNESBURG – The man accused of the 2010 killing of strip club
boss Lolly Jackson, George Louca has died of lung cancer.
According to government officials he died on Monday evening.
Louca was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer and TB.
The Cypriot recently lost a court bid to return home to Cyprus and was
expected to stand trial in October.
During his application he told the High Court sitting in Palm Ridge
about the night Jackson was killed.
He testified that Czech fugitive Radovan Krejcir had pulled the trigger
that night in 2010.
Correctional Services Spokesperson Manelisi Wolela said, “The
Department of Correctional Services wishes to confirm that indeed
George Louca who was awaiting trial in Kgosi Mamphori has passed
on after 8pm Monday evening, we have begun to consult all the key
players including his brother.
