Former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola of Osun State has accused President Goodluck Jonathan of befriending all those accused in the murder of Bola Ige, a one-time Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Nigeria. Mr. Oyinlola, who served as a governor on the platform of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), made the declaration today while announcing his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC). The remains of the late Ogun state secretary of the National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria (NACHPN), Com. Adekunle Olalekan Adeniji, was committed to mother Earth at his residence on Sunday 14th January, 2024 amidst tears and crying. The body of the late scribe left the morgue at Isara for his Olomore Abeokuta residence as final resting place at about 1pm and was committed to mother Earth around 3pm after a short church service. The late scribe was involved in an auto accident on Saturday morning while returning from a journey. The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has issued a 15-day ultimatum to the Federal Government of Nigeria to address the long-standing demands of Nigerian nurses.  This decision was made during the NANNM's National Executive Council meeting in Abuja on August 28, 2024. The association is seeking: 1. Immediate Reopening of Nurses' Verification Portal:  The NMCN, a parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Health, should reopen the verification portal to enable nurses to explore better opportunities, pursue further studies, and complete necessary tasks. 2.
