Sylva’s uncle kidnapped in Bayelsa

Pa Benson Adigio-Eseni, an octogenarian uncle to former governor of Bayelsa State, Mr. Timipre Sylva, has been kidnapped. The Nation gathered that the 86-year-old Adigio-Eseni was abducted at 2am on Sunday from his residence in Okpoama, Brass Local Government Area of the state. Sources said the abductors rode in a speedboat and shot sporadically before seizing their victim. They were said to have fled into the creeks with the octogenarian. A relation of the victim, Austin Adigio, confirmed the incident. “It’s true, he (Adigio-Eseni) was kidnapped last night at about 2am,” he said.
