Germany became the new world champion on Sunday 13th July after a 1-0 victory over Argentina. Meanwhile, Germany defeated the host nation, Brazil by 7-1 in the semi-final. "G" is the 7th letter of alphabets. Germany start with "G" The name contains 7 letters. Germany was in group "G" or group 7 (along with Ghana, USA and Portugal), Germany ended group stage with 7 point (with victory over USA and Portugal and draw against Ghana). Germany scored 7 goals in group stages (4-2 against Portugal, 2-2 against Ghana and 1-0 against USA). Germany scored 7 goals againt Brazil. This is also their 7th match in the tournament. Following the death of an Ebola virus victim from Liberia, Patrick Sawyer, in Lagos, on Thursday, the Federal Government and the Lagos State Government have jointly launched a manhunt for some of the passengers of the airplane that brought the late Liberian into the country, Sunday Newswatch has learnt.
