Agbaakin Benedict Akika: An exceptional Humanitarian in Oyo State.

Comrade Olalere Benedict Adetunji, the Senate President of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has described Oloye Benedict Akika as an Exceptional Humanitarian in Oyo State in reference to the recent Award given to Agbaakin Benedict Akika as  Pacesetter Humanitarian Personality of the Year 2023. This award reflects a square peg in a square hole; Agbaakin Benedict Akika response to the need of people, concern for community development and entrepreneurship empowerment (youth, women and aged people) can't be overemphasized. Honestly, he has being a voice to the voiceless, father to the fatherless, hope to many and joy to Oyo State Citizens. Agbaakin Benedict Akika ideology is strengthening populace well-being without any iota of discrimination irrespective language or tribe. Only few individuas have such large and golden heart. One of the Students Friendly Governor in Nigeria has gone - NANS Senate president

The Senate President of National Association of Nigerian Students ( NANS) Comrade Olalere Benedict Adetunji described the death of Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu the Governor of Ondo State has a huge loss to the Nigerian Students, described the Governor as Students Friendly Governor , a Man who always come boldly to speak on behalf of his people, a dedicated Leader per Excellence, the Amotekun General has gone, what a loss to Southwest and Nigeria. The death of Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu the Governor of Ondo State should serve as a big lesson to people in Authority today, to do well and render a tireless Service to humanity, above all the fear of Almighty God should be in the heart of every Man. NANS Comesirate with Ondo State and the Entire Students in Ondo State for this great loss and  pray that Almighty God will grant his Family and the entire Ondo State the fortitude to bear the loss, may the soul of departed Governor rest in Peace.

Police arrest over 100 ‘gay suspects’ in Delta

Arrested party goers paraded by police in Delta The Delta State Police Command on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, announced that it arrested over 100 suspected homosexuals carrying out a wedding ceremony in a hotel in Delta state. In a post on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle, the state police said it while parading the suspects. “Delta State Command has arrested over a hundred gay suspects in a hotel carrying out a gay wedding ceremony.” In a related issue, the men of the local vigilante group in Ekpan, Delta State attacked two lesbian lovers, Joy and Cynthia, on the 30th November and Joy gave up the ghost on the 3rd of December at the hospital due to various degrees of injuries sustained from the incident but Cynthia Tekedor was rescued by the police from the nearby Ekpan police station. While interviewing, Mrs Ejiroghene Cynthia Tekedor added that, "I and Joy were caught in the act and the vigilante group unleashed their anger on us but all thanks to the police but joy is not

LGBT: A local vigilante group killed one lesbian suspect in Delta

The men of the local vigilante group in Ekpan, Delta State attacked two lesbian lovers, Joy and Cynthia, on the 30th November and Joy gave up the ghost on the 3rd of December at the hospital due to various degrees of injuries sustained from the incident but Cynthia Tekedor was rescued by the police from the nearby Ekpan police station. While interviewing, Mrs Ejiroghene Cynthia Tekedor added that, "I and Joy were caught in the act and the vigilante group unleashed their anger on us but all thanks to the police but joy is not lucky as she died in the hospital after three days." She added that, "my life is at stake from prosecution also the life of my two daughters is at stake, due to the largely welcomed genital mutilation done in my husband hometown, Ogbe Ijoh, which was to take place in April 2024." She therefore sought assistance from well-meaning Nigerian and international community to help her and rescue her daughters from the abolished FGM exercise.
