Same person in Ebenezer Obey’s Ajala travel aer the world, Ajala travel, Ajala travel, Ajala travel all over the world . . . In a moment of psychological terror, anguish and angst, Sophocles, in Oedipus Rex, at a point of deep exasperation, said “ call no man happy, until he is dead!”   Life did terrible things to Oedipus. He had unknowingly murdered his father and married his mother.   Chance rules our lives and the future certainly is all unknown. In Yoruba pantheon -”Alejo l’owo”- Money is a stranger, if it enters your hand, take good care of him like a lady fresh from puberty. He had his secondary education, at the Baptist Academy, Lag

OPay launches ‘OBus’, a public bus hailing service, in Lagos

Opera-backed OPay formally launched OBus, a bus hailing service, in Lagos last Saturday. This is coming barely a week after the introduction of OTrike in Aba. In its plan to become a multi-service commercial internet platform, Opay which started as a mobile payments platform in 2016, has within the past months added motorcycle hailing, personal loans, food delivery and tricycle hailing to its list of services. And it doesn’t seem to be resting on its oars. OBus, like ORide and OTrike, is a commuter transit service that operates using branded hummer buses for intrastate trips within Lagos. It has since inception been incorporated into the OPay app where ride orders can be made. To access the OBus service, you will need to update your OPay app. Currently in beta testing, it only operates along the CMS-Ikeja routes. Updated Opay app with OBus beta activated “OBus is like normal buses but it is more comfortable and supports cashless payments,” an OPay staff told Techpoint during an

But the most remarkable sight in the country is the lake with over two million jellyfish in it. Palau Niue Niue is a tiny island state in Oceania. Despite the truly amazing views, tourism is not popular there. Therefore, the country depends greatly on foreign aid, especially from New Zealand. The capit

The Chief Medical Director(CMD), University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, Professor Abiodun Otegbayo, on Friday said the focus of his administration is to change people’s perception about the hospital, stressing that patients’ comfort and workers’ welfare are important to ensure that the hospital renders optimal services. The CMD stated this during a press conference inside the YCH boardroom to mark the 100 days of his administration in office. Otegbayo said he wants patients to have pleasant experience when they visit the hospital. He said: “The two focal areas of this administration is patient comfort and staff welfare. So my targets are along the line of making patients comfortable to make sure their experience when they come to see us is pleasant and they can recommend us. “I want a situation where the phobia people have for UCH would not be there. Any in-patient coming from Igbo Oloyin or Ode Olo would not need to know anybody to access our service and get optimal service.
