Minister order probe into the use of ladder at Bauchi airport

…NAHCO denies involvement in incident The  Minister of State for Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika has directed an immediate investigation into the use of an unauthorized equipment by Aero Contractors Airlines at the conclusion of a charter flight to Bauchi over the weekend. This is just as one of the ground handling companies, Nigerian Aviation Handling Company ( NAHCO) Plc said it is was not involved in the incident because it does not operate at Bauchi Airport . The minister spoke through the deputy director in charge of press and public affairs in the ministry, Mr James Odaudu. Several reports received by the Minister have indicated that the airline used a ladder to disembark passengers from a Boeing 737 aircraft at the  Bauchi airport on Saturday December 19th 2015. DEFINITION ‎ The hematocrit is a test that measures the percentage of blood that is comprised of red blood cells. It is the relative measure of red cell present in a whole blood expressed in percentage. PURPOSE‎ The hematocrit is used to screen for anemia, or is measured on a person to determine the extent of anemia. An anemic person has fewer or smaller than normal red blood cells. Dr. Chuba Wilberforce Okadigbo (December 17, 1941 – September 25, 2003), was President of the Senate of Nigeria. He was sometimes referred to as Oyi of Oyi in reference to his local government council area (Oyi); he also held numerous political positions in the Nigeria government. He was known to be opposed to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria, which was led by President Olusẹgun Ọbasanjọ from the year 1999 - 2007. $2bn arms deal: DSS arrests Dasuki, Bafarawa

More Nigerian politicians believed to have benefitted from the huge security budget said to be missing were, yesterday, arrested and detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. A former governor of Sokoto State, Attahiru Bafarawa and the Chairman Emeritus of Daar Communications Plc, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, were among the latest to be questioned by the security agents for allegedly receiving huge sums of money from the office of the embattled former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki. Dasuki was taken from his Asokoro home in a pre-dawn raid by  operatives of the Department of State Service, DSS, ahead of possible arraignment for breach of public trust and money laundering. Dasuki Sambo and Attahiru Bafarawa Sources at the EFCC said that while Dokpesi was invited to answer questions for allegedly receiving over N2 billion from the office of the NSA, Bafarawa was brought in for receiving over N100 million from the same source. World football governing body FIFA have withdrawn bronze boot award from Golden Eaglets skipper Kelechi Nwakali at the recent U17 World Cup in Chile and re-awarded it to compatriot Samuel Chukwueze after a mistake In a letter to the NFF general secretary, Mohammed Sanusi, and signed by Mustapha Fahmy, director of the football division, FIFA admitted their blunder: “We made a mistake at the closing ceremony of the FIFA U-17 World Cup Chile 2015 with the distribution of the adidas Bronze Boot. Paris attacks: Suspects may still be at large

Paris (CNN) It's possible that suspects directly involved in Friday's Paris terror attacks remain at large, a French counterterrorism source close to the investigation told CNN on Sunday. A number of arrests linked to the attacks have been made in Belgium, but it is unclear whether they include the occupant or occupants of an abandoned car with weapons inside found in eastern Paris, the source said. Those revelations come as new details about the attackers emerge. Europe's worst security nightmare appears to be coming true: At least one of the  terrorists who attacked civilians in Paris  on Friday entered the European Union hidden among the wave of refugees arriving on European shores. One of three bombers who detonated himself at the Stade de France late Friday arrived on the Greek island of Leros on October 3 among numerous Syrian refugees, CNN's Christiane Amanpour reported, citing an unnamed French senator who was briefed by the Ministry of the Interior.
